- 14 February 2010 - Diminishing Returns and more Decay Options
We've added more DKP options to the many already available. You can now apply Diminishing Returns to all earned DKP using a customisable table of levels. Earned decay can now be based on "Earned DKP" or "Current DKP", and Spent Decay can be based on Spent DKP plus a Base Spent Modifier (as per standard EPGP) or it can be based on straight Spent DKP. These additions make our system even more configurable and mean you can tweak your system as time goes on to make sure it working exactly how your guild needs it. - 27 January 2010 - Realtime DKP Standings
When a run is being completed in real time the DKP standings both on the standings page (DKP > Standings) and on your public guild page will reflect the standings from the active run in real time. All guild members will be able to watch the standings either by logging in or without logging in on your public page (if you have made your standings public). No more arguments! - 13 December 2009 - Instance Scope Added
We've added the ability to set a scope for your account. You can now choose which instances are displayed during your Raidbuilder experience, from Classic, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. You can also choose whether or not to show 5 player instances. This should save you a little time when whenever you need to choose an instance and should also make some of the report pages less cluttered. Set your scope on the Account > Configure > Preferences page. - 11 December 2009 - Loot DKP Values Auto Generation
Many people will be over the moon to hear that we've finally fixed an issue with duplicate named loot (loot with different versions based on dungeon difficulty). All Trial of the Crusader and Icecrown loot can now have their loot DKP values auto generated correctly and all loot should now be identified correctly when assigning DKP and in the reports. Long overdue we know but just in time for Icecrown! - 09 December 2009 - Patch 3.3 (Icecrown Citadel) Instances, Bosses and Loot
Patch 3.3 (Icecrown Citadel) instances, bosses and loot have been added. Runs can be scheduled and completed for all the new instances. Boss DKP values can be added and loot DKP values can also be automatically generated using our simple modifiers or custom (including EPGP) formulae. - 17 September 2009 - Character Performance Monitoring
Our character report page has just been massively improved making it an extremely useful resource for monitoring character performance and analysing character "readyness" for new dungeons and hardmodes. We've integrated BeImba and ArmoryLight gear scores into the report so, along with all the important standard stats you can easily compare characters and see who is shaping up and who isn't. The report is sortable by all stats and can now be filtered by level, class, mains/alts and regular raid team members. Used in conjunction with the attendance reports you can now easily stay on top of strong and weak team members alike. - 20 July 2009 - Event Calendar
Our Events Calendar page (formerly Planned Events) is now new and much improved. You now have the choice of a Calendar view and List view, there's no page refreshing required when signing up to runs or making yourself available plus the whole layout is much easier to understand and use. - 18 June 2009 - Mains and Alts
We've finally made it so you can define the mains and alts within your guild even when all characters are associated with single account. This means more accurate attendance reports and DKP standings for guilds who don't want all their guild members to require a Raidbuilder account. This new feature is available in the Guild > Manage section. - 11 June 2009 - Increased Decay Options
It is now possible to add increased decay to DKP based on players missing raids. If players continually miss a set number of raids you can apply a configurable extra amount of decay that will be applied to DKP earned and/or spent. This allows you to automatically penalise players who continually miss a certain proportion of raids. - 08 May 2009 - MMO Champion RaidComp Tool Integration
We've integrated the MMO Champion RaidComp Tool into our team building page. Now, while your building teams you can click the Raid Composition button and instantly see which buffs/de-buffs you'll be getting accross the raid. As you know MMO Champion's tool is great and it's a real compliment to our team building page. - 14 April 2009 - Guild Alliances
Closed beta testing of the guild alliances feature has been completed successfully and the feature has now been opened up to all Raidbuilder members. With guild alliances you can schedule and track runs accross your guilds, see attendance and availability reports and also share DKP pools. This means you can manage co-operative raids and track DKP and attendance easily accross your guilds either in addition to or as part of your normal guild raiding activities. - 26 March 2009 - More Feeds
All our feeds can now be added to your guild website using simple Javascript with virtually no coding knowledge required, this makes them much easier to add and should mean they can be added to more generic guild hosting sites too. We've also added a new Run History feed showing your guild's completed runs including attendance and DKP summaries. - 12 March 2009 - Raid Template Changes
We've made some pretty big changes to the way Raid Templates work and the way they are managed which makes them more flexible and much easier to use and understand. Firstly, we separated them from the instances so now you don't need a raid template for each instance you run. This should result in you needing to use fewer templates, create them less often and only change them when you want to improve your team set ups. Secondly, we have improved the raid template interface making it clearer and much more intuitive. We have also added some features such as "copy spot" and drag and drop selection for the builds to speed up template creation and editing. Finally, we've also removed the Public Raid Templates and replaced them with Open Instances. This means you can open up instances to be scheduled freely by your guild without the need to create Raid Templates specifically for them. These changes are one of the first steps towards making the system much more user friendly while keeping it's flexibility and power. - 03 March 2009 - Armory Stability
The armory seems to have returned to a more stable state for us now, so character updates and guild population features seem to be working as intended again. We are caching some Armory requests and have also made a few tweaks to the Armory request throttler we use, this may mean you are asked to "try again in x minutes" occasionally but hopefully this should help to stop the Armory returning 503 errors to us for extended periods of time in the future. Of course it may still return 503 errors to us and that is beyond our control especially as Blizzard doesn't appear to have published any useful guidelines suggesting an acceptable frequency for Armory requests. In light of this we have also added the ability for you to update our Armory cache manually in the event of future Armory problems. - 24 February 2009 - RSS Guild Events Feeds
RSS Guild Events Feeds added, you can now feed your phone or any other RSS reader with your guild's active events so you can see exactly what guild raids are scheduled. This feed will also include published team information including subs. Now there really is no excuse for missing a raid! The feed details are accessible via the Planned Events page or the Webmaster Tools page. - 20 February 2009 - Site will be offline to de-commission the old quikgame.com domain
On Monday 23rd February at 2.00pm GMT the site will be offline for approximately 30 minutes in order to de-commission the old quikgame.com domain. Please be aware that anyone still using URLs pointing to the old quikgame.com domain will need to update their links, feeds and bookmarks to point to the raidbuilder.com domain, the remaining parts of the URLs remain the same. - 18 February 2009 - Guild Public Pages
We've improved on our public DKP standings page by replacing it with a more general public page for guilds. You can still display selected DKP pool standings publically but now recent loot and boss kill progress can also be displayed without the need for guild members to log in to Raidbuilder. Of course this is configurable within your guild preferences so you don't have to make this information public if you don't wish. - 10 February 2009 - Contributions
It is time to start asking for support through contributions, if you are part of a guild that regularly uses Raidbuilder and are enjoying the benefits that it offers then we are asking you to contribute towards it's upkeep and improvement. All individual contributions are collectively associated with the relevant guilds so if each guild member makes a small contribution it will ensure that Raidbuilder stays alive and continues to go from strength to strength. Without your support it will be difficult to keep Raidbuilder alive and maintain the level of support we are proud of. Please use the Contribute menu option to make a contribution or to read a little more about why we need them. - 08 January 2009 - No Show Tracking
Players who sign up or make themselves available and then do now show up for a run can now be tracked. When completing a scheduled run using an attendance log these no shows will be automatically tracked otherwise they can be manually entered at the same time as completing runs in the normal way. There is a now dedicated report for no shows within a guild which can be made viewable to the whole guild or kept private simply for tracking purposes. However, once a player receives a no show the number of times they have not shown up for runs will be displayed on the tooltip for their character. No shows can also trigger automatic DKP penalties if you use DKP. - 05 January 2009 - Realm Transfers and Character Name Changes
Characters can now be transferred between realms in the same region and character names can be changed. There is a new option in the actions list for each character on the My Profile page.
